Jeans Making Workshop

Jeans Making Workshop

The Worship is a classic five pocket rigid jean that pays homage to that certain San Francisco based heritage denim label. These hug your rear and are guaranteed to give you that Daughter Judy Booty™️ or your money back! They have a higher rise with a vee shaped waistband that won't cut into your stomach the second you sit down or after a big meal. A classic silhouette, clean lines and good proportions, that comes in a straight and flare view for a little extra. Best made in heavier weight denim that breaks in and molds to your shape over time.

The Matchbook Jeans are the jeans you’ll reach for daily but might have to put back just to avoid being caught wearing them again. Ridiculously comfortable with a relaxed fit, they feature classic five pocket styling to keep things functional and familiar. Precisely tapered and finishes at the heel so they play well with kitten heels, loafers or a good old fashioned pair of Keds.

Intermediate or above welcome; please come with knowledge of and experience in using a home sewing machine, working from a sewing pattern and experience sewing zippers (fly construction specifically not required). If you've looking for a robust class focusing stricting on sewing jeans this is it! We will use the straight stitch for construction and zig zag and overlock to finish the seams.

We recommend denim fabrics in heavier weights of at least 10 oz or 340 gsm. Fabric yardage should be purchased and pattern cut out by participants beforehand. You can come slightly earlier to use our table to cut if needed but please note that space is limited.
